The exciting news - we're moving to Poole and we're going to run a lovely food pub called The Rope & Anchor. It's a Wadworth pub, it has a good reputation but has been closed since Novemer.
Its going to be challenging. Its going to be tough but I'm also expecting it to be amazing. Lee and I are going into it together, it will be our pub and he's crazily agreed to head into the kitchen whilst I run front of house.
We get the keys 26th January (all being well) and we'll be opening 3rd February with a "soft launch" then an opening party on 4th Feb... if you're nearby, or can be nearby, please pop in!!!
I'm terrified. Lee's stressed. But we will make this a success, it will be brilliant I have no shadow of doubt in my mind.
The future is there to grab hold of and make what you want of it, I have no plans to let mine slip away.
